DYT Leader (Canada Summer Jobs Grant)

LOCATIONS: Various Location in Lower Mainland and at Hornby Island - Tribune Bay Outdoor Education Centre


POSITION STATUS: Seasonal Contract, Full Time - 10 week


TERMS: June 15, 2020 - August 21, 2020 - Date are not yet confirmed. 


SHIFT: Monday to Friday, with varying shifts and occasionally on weekends. 

NOTE: These positions are contingent on the funding of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant. Applicants are required to be between the ages of 15 and 30, a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident and entitled to work in Canada. 

NATURE & SCOPE: If you want to work with kids we are looking for you! DYT Leader enjoys facilitating activities and games for children ages 5 to 12 in a fun, fast paced enviroment.

  • Facilitate games and activities for campers

  • Engage and build relationships with campers

  • Ensure all campers are safe and supervised

  • Follow all DYT policies and procedures


  • Available to work full time hours for the entire contract

  • Current Standard First Aid certificate and CPR-C & AED required
