The famous DYT Hornby Island Kids’ Camp is back after 2 years!  Campers will participate in daily activities such as high ropes, climbing tower, rappelling, kayaking, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, campfire entertainment and the list goes on.  This is a great opportunity for campers to experience camping and nature in a deaf friendly environment for DHH campers who use ASL and those who are learning.  DYT staff work alongside Tribune Bay Outdoor Education Staff to make this camp safe and fun. We expect this year’s camp to fill up so register ASAP.

Junior Campers will enjoy all of the above programs aimed right at their age level and have opportunities to meet old and new DHH friends.

Senior Campers will also enjoy all the above programs but while at camp, Senior Campers may choose to participate in Leader in Training activities.

Drop off (Mon July 11th, 9:15 am) & pick up (Fri July 15th at 5:15 pm) at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.  For campers on Vancouver Island, we can arrange to meet you at Duke Point or Buckley Bay.

All camps are highly subsidized. If you need funding support please contact DYT for an application.
